Concept Marine Group

We brought five marine businesses together under one parent brand, built a website that makes hiring easier, and took the group to the Southampton Boat Show.

Client
Concept Marine Group

Five marine brands, one group people recognise.

Concept Marine Group builds, maintains and services boats through five specialist businesses. We gave the group a parent brand that ties them together, while letting each business keep its own character, and a website that helps it recruit the skilled people it needs.

The challenge

Concept Yachts, Concept Industrial, Concept Shipyard, Holdfast RIBs and Southerly Yachts each had their own customers and their own story. Together they were a bigger, stronger group, but that wasn’t obvious to customers or to the people the group wanted to hire. It needed a clear family resemblance, and an easier way to find skilled staff for its yacht build and maintenance work. [Add a line in the client’s own words about what wasn’t working before.]

The parent brand and its five sub-brands, side by side

What we did

Why: We started from the strength of the group as a whole. The parent brand needed to signal scale and capability, while each sub-brand stayed distinct enough to speak to its own customers.

How: We designed the Concept Marine Group identity alongside a family of sub-brands for Concept Yachts, Concept Industrial, Concept Shipyard, Holdfast RIBs and Southerly Yachts, so every business is clearly part of the same group. We then designed and built a full WordPress website with a custom job board linked to Indeed, so candidates can find roles across the group and apply directly on the site.

When: For the Southampton Boat Show we designed the display graphics and artwork for a large bespoke stand, made to stand out on a busy show floor. Print materials and wider brand applications followed, so the group looks the same everywhere it appears.

The result

Concept Marine Group now presents as one confident group, with five recognisable businesses inside it. Hiring is simpler, with roles across the group in one place and applications coming straight through the website. [Add a real outcome if you have one, e.g. applications received, roles filled or enquiries from the boat show.]

  • Five brands under one parent identity
  • A job board linked to Indeed, with direct applications
  • A bespoke stand for the Southampton Boat Show
  • One consistent look across print, digital and the show floor
